Note: As a member of the SLO 4-Wheelers there are no requirements as to number of events or attending the monthly General meeting, however you are highly encouraged to attend the General meeting so we can get to know each other and to insure your interests are represented. They are usually a lot of fun and its where club runs and activities are planned.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT TO THE SLO COUNTY 4WD CLUB

Also known as SLO 4-WHEELERS, here after referred to as SLO COUNTY 4WD CLUB
In consideration of being permitted to participate in any event sponsored, promoted or directed by the SLO COUNTY 4WD CLUB, the undersigned for himself, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASES the SLO COUNTY 4WD CLUB, its officers, directors, promoters, sponsors and employees and/or the committee of all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin for any loss or damage on account of injury to the undersigned or his property or resulting in the death of the undersigned whether caused by the negligent act or omission of Releasee's or otherwise while the undersigned is for any purpose participating in such event. It is fully understood by each of the undersigned that there is some inherent risk associated with club events, including damage to vehicles.
In addition, the undersigned AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Releasee's from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to such participation by the undersigned, whether caused by the Releasee's negligence or otherwise and AGREE TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK for any bodily injury, death, or property damage from releasee's negligence or otherwise while the undersigned hereby acknowledges and represent the following:
1. That he or she has read the foregoing Release of Waiver and Liability and Indemnity Agreement;
2. That he or she shall at all times, while riding in a vehicle participating in club events, wear their respective seatbelts, and
3. That the owner/driver certifies that he/she has inspected this vehicle and same is in good mechanical condition, and
4. That the owner/driver has informed himself about the event and the trail involved, either by prior participation or by investigation into the event and trail.
