CatherineA & boys, Debbie K., Darlene & Whitney M., The club would like to thank Brad J. for taking his time to give the CPR class which was very informative, educational, and loads of fun. The players learned adult CPR and Himlick using video tapes and actual hands and mouth on experience. Brad supplied the resuscitation dolls...two of which were in the theme of the month (Halloween)...dressed in something in the neighbor hood of the terminator (i.e. No Faces) All participated...adults and kids alike. Actually the kids probably did better than some adults.
Brad is going to continue training on November 18, 1998
with first aid training. EVERYONE PLEASE COME |

Trailboss: Brian T. Place: Lockwood and Miller Jeep Trail A total of 14 SLO County 4WD club rigs participated in this years Fright Night put on by Point Mugu 4WD Club, and what a fine job the club did. The hospitality, friendliness, and great trail run was much appreciated by everyone. Leaving Margies at 55mph with Brian T. in the lead it was an awesome sight seeing our big group going down the freeway. (being passed by all.. including a horse trailor and semi) Arriving early at our destination, checking into the hotel, and umm well those who were brave enough set up camp. (Lynn S. and James B. family) The Slo Wheelers large group took off in the early group...enjoying all the ghouls, spiders, haunted houses, CB hauntings and the unknown on the trail. Screams were heard echoing all over the trails... Fun was had by all, the trail wet from rain (brought on by the presence of Brian or Randy..the final determination of whose fault that was..never really was resolved), the dark, and THE ROCK making the trail a 4 wheeling challenge. Breakfast (Judy J had 2 of them) and the raffle (Brad J. having to rent a UHaul to carry his winnings home) was great. A definate must for everyone |

Randy talked about the Leapin' Lizard which will be our next club run on November 14th & 15th. He plans to Leave Margie's in San Luis at 9:00 AM on Saturday, the 14th. Richard F is running the event with volunteers, and we hope to run a checkpoint. Dinner will be served to the volunteers on Saturday night. Camping is at Balanger Canyon off Highway 33, South and East of New Cuyama. Normally we have to be at our checkpoint before the riders start, so plan a quich breakfast, and a lunch for Sunday. Please call Randy for more information if you can help.
